For Rian’s christening styling, we created a soft and polished setup built around baby blue and fresh spring colours. The overall look felt elegant, calm and welcoming, which made it ideal for a christening celebration. At Wow Weddings, we often work with statement décor and personalised styling, and this setup showed how those same ideas can work beautifully for a smaller family occasion.

We designed a balloon display in baby blue, ivory and warm metallic tones to frame a personalised sign on a gold easel. This created a stylish welcome point for guests and introduced the colour theme from the moment they arrived. It also added height and shape to the entrance without making the look feel too heavy.
A strong welcome feature is often one of the simplest ways to make an event feel more thoughtful and complete. It brings personality to the venue and gives guests an immediate focal point at the start of the celebration.
The main feature in the room was an ivory flower wall with soft baby blue draping on either side. We added a custom neon sign for Rian’s Christening Day, which gave the display a modern glow and made it feel extra personal. The flower wall added texture and elegance, while the draping softened the look and connected everything back to the baby blue theme.
This type of backdrop works especially well for special occasions because it creates a beautiful setting for photographs and gives the room a strong central feature. At Wow Weddings, products such as the Flower Wall, Wedding Draping and Neon Signs all support this kind of layered styling.

To complete the room, we styled the guest tables with small and intimate centrepieces in baby blue and soft spring shades. These arrangements added freshness and colour while keeping the overall look light and relaxed. Because the designs were low and compact, they suited the event perfectly and helped the room feel elegant without becoming too formal.

Thoughtful table styling can make a big difference to an event. It keeps the room cohesive and adds detail to each guest table. Our Wedding Centerpieces page shows how versatile these kinds of designs can be across different event styles.
The final result felt beautifully balanced from entrance to tables. The balloon styling created a warm welcome. The ivory flower wall and neon sign gave the room its main wow factor. The centrepieces then carried the baby blue and spring theme across the space in a subtle way.
Rian’s christening styling was a great example of how personalised décor can make a family celebration feel special without needing an oversized setup. At Wow Weddings, we love combining statement pieces with softer details to create events that feel both elegant and personal.
